Tracey Warren DipFD FDSc

Tracey has been a funeral director for over 22 years working within the Dorset and Somerset Community. She joined Stoodleys in 2000 and is now the owner of the company.

Tracey has written articles for both trade and national magazines, and conducted many interviews on national and local radio. Tracey is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Somerset regarding issues surrounding death and bereavement. In 2012 she was one of the keynote speakers at the Festival of Death at London’s Southbank Centre.

Tracey was among the first cohort to graduate from Bath University's new degree in Funeral Service and this advanced learning has facilitated the development of a new bereavement support initiative for those working within the care sector. This was successfully launched into the community in 2013. Tracey's commitment to ongoing support for local families led to the development of Grief Journey South Somerset, a local accessible bereavement support group. Leading a team of volunteers this has proved to be an invaluable resource for the local community.

She has been a proactive campaigner for environmentally sustainable funeral options, and for better practice to assist families with infant loss.
